Some videos of Delhi's Covid-designated Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital have emerged on social media, which show sorry state of medical care and services provided to Corona patients. The videos also show dead bodies lying on the hospital floor and Covid patients left unattended by the hospital staff. With a daily average of around 1,250 Covid-19 cases, Delhi has added a whopping 10,000 cases in just eight days since June 1, a phenomenal spike from the previous 79 days it took to reach the first 10,000 mark, government data revealed. Delhi took just 13 days to progress from 10,000 to 20,000 positive cases.
The coaches can be used for very mild cases that can be clinically assigned to the coronavirus care centres according to guidelines issued by the health ministry.
