The Delhi government has ordered changed guidelines for home isolation for Covid positive patients. Now, every patient has to remain in domestic quarantine for 10 days and if no fever is reported for three days, then isolation will be deemed completed. Earlier, requirements for home isolation was 17 days and no fever for 10 days but Union health ministry changed the requirements. The health ministry guidelines say there is no need to conduct Covid tests after completion of the home isolation period, though patients are advised to avoid going out for seven days.
