With a series of tremors rocking Delhi in the recent past, NDMC is improving seismic stability of several iconic buildings. The civic agency informed Delhi high court that it had identified 25 NDMC buildings as high risk. It also started work to make these structurally safe in case of a big earthquake. These include Yashwant Place, Palika Bazar and Palika Bhawan. NDMC said it has also issued show-cause notices to 63 high-rise buildings in its jurisdiction.
