The Delhi High Court has dismissed a petition challenging the decision of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) to reserve 50 percent state quota of PG medical seats to MBBS graduates from its own colleges. Rajya Sabha member Amar Singh was cremated today at the Chhatarpur crematorium in Delhi in the presence of his family members and relatives. The cremation happened two days after he died in a Singapore hospital.

Shopkeepers and customers are following every necessary precaution as mentioned by the government for preventing novel coronavirus. Shopkeepers selling sweets and rakhis said that they are taking all precautionary measures and also maintaining hygiene. One of the shopkeepers in Karol Bagh said, "Our staff are wearing gloves and masks; we are maintaining social distancing at the shop. So people are coming but many are staying back in fear."
Ex-Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh cremated in Delhi's Chhatarpur - Amar Singh's last rites were conducted by his twin daughters, Drishti and Disha, at the Chhatarpur cremation ground. Singh's relatives and close friends had reached Delhi to attend his funeral.
