They are being sold at Rs 40 per kg in the market.” Another shopkeeper Shafeeq said, “Due to rise in price of tomatoes customers are buying it in less quantity now. Good quality tomato is being sold at Rs 50 per kg while the other one is sold at Rs 40 per kg in the market.”
The active cases tally on Friday rose to 13,550 from 13,208 the previous day. On June 23, the national capital had reported the highest single-day spike of 3,947 COVID-19 cases, till date.
