Testing of eight samples sent to a Bhopal-based laboratory has confirmed bird flu in Delhi, officials said on Monday.

Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain informed that there will be one COVID-19 vaccination centre each of the 89 hospitals; 40 government hospitals and 49 private ones have been selected for COVID-19 vaccination drive in Delhi
Covid-19 vaccination will start in the capital on January 16. It will be done at 89 booths in 40 government and 49 private hospitals. 51 lakh people have been shortlisted, with healthcare workers the first in line. Some of the approved government hospitals are AIIMS, Safdarjung, Lok Nayak and Hindu Rao. The private hospitals are Max, Fortis, Apollo and Sir Ganga Ram. The limited number of booths ensures that the government is able to effectively handle adverse situations.
