Delhi BJP president Adesh Gupta on Friday met the family of Rinku Sharma who was allegedly stabbed to death in outer Delhi's Mangolpuri, and provided an assistance of Rs 5 lakh to them.
SDMC standing committee member Shikha Rai said the parking lot at M Block market will have space for 399 cars and would be multi-level — at least eight floors, with space to park 57 cars on each floor.
The crowd of farmers is thinning around Delhi borders at Ghazipur and Singhu as the protest against the Centre's new farm laws entered its 83rd day with no breakthrough in sight. Many of the farmers are on their way back to the villages. From the thousands camping at the protest site barely a month ago, only half the number remain.

A 25-year-old man was stabbed by a group of people in Delhi's Mangolpuri area. Later, the man dies in a hospital during treatment. The police have arrested four men in connection with the case. The incident took place in the aftermath of a brawl at a birthday party in the afternoon. A senior police officer said, “A scuffle had ensued during a birthday party that was attended by both the accused and the victim. The four accused, identified as Mohammed Islam, Danish, Zahid and Mehtab, have been arrested. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of IPC and investigation is on.”
The police, however, has denied these VHP's allegations and said the deceased got into a heated argument with 4 men, who later stabbed him with a knife.
