At least 53 people were killed and hundreds of others were injured in the violence that took place in northeast Delhi between February 24 and 26 last year.
Referring to the Republic Day violence, MoS Home G Kishan Reddy said there was a big conspiracy on Jan 26, but it was handled bravely by the Delhi police.
"The riots and illegal protests that took place in February 2020 were a part of this scheme but the way Delhi Police handled it, is an example for other police forces," G Kishan Reddy said.
