Refilling remains an issue as the process is time consuming and also involves ambulances and manpower being used for it. Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Thursday that Delhi government could create 9,500 more oxygen-equipped hospital beds provided the central government ensured sufficient oxygen supply. He also said that Delhi, for the first time, received 730 metric tonnes of oxygen on Wednesday and would require such a volume every day until the current Covid-19 wave subsided.
