The capital on Thursday recorded 487 fresh cases of Covid-19 — the lowest in 80 days. Forty-five people succumbed to the virus in the past 24 hours in the city, while the positivity rate slumped to 0.61%. This is the first time the daily death count has gone below the 50-mark since April11, when 48 fatalities were recorded. According to the state government’s health bulletin, Thursday’s deaths pushed the toll from Covid-19 in Delhi to 24,447. Stay with TOI for more updates:
