Air pollution level in Delhi remained in the ‘very poor’ category on Sunday morning even as the impact of stubble burning on the city’s air quality came down considerably due to reduction in farm fires in neighbouring states, according to the Ministry of Earth Science's air quality monitor, System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR).At 6 am today, the city’s overall Air Quality Index (AQI) clocked at 347, with the concentrations of the particulate matter (PM) with a diameter of 10 and 2.5 microns standing at 301 (‘poor’ category) and 181 (‘very poor’ category) respectively, as per SAFAR.
