On India Upfront with Rahul Shivshankar, today we discuss the brutal lynching of a 25-year-old man who was allegedly lynched in the National Capital. The man was threatened and assaulted and was later stabbed to death. The family rushed him to the hospital, and the attackers allegedly reached there to further assault his family. 25-year-old Rinku Sharma succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. Delhi police have arrested five of the accused and as per the family, they have alleged that the investigation is going in the wrong direction. As per Delhi police, they have cited ‘Business Rivalry’. His family has alleged harassment for the last six months by the accused on religious grounds.
